Spaghetti carbonara recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 slices bacon, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine (optional)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti pasta until al dente. Drain well. Toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile in a large skillet, cook chopped bacon until slightly crisp; remove and drain onto paper towels. Reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon fat; add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil, and heat in reused large skillet. Add chopped onion, and cook over medium heat until onion is translucent. Add minced garlic, and cook 1 minute more. Add wine if desired; cook one more minute.
  3. Return cooked bacon to pan; add cooked and drained spaghetti. Toss to coat and heat through, adding more olive oil if it seems dry or is sticking together. Add beaten eggs and cook, tossing constantly with tongs or large fork until eggs are barely set. Quickly add 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, and toss again. Add salt and pepper to taste (remember that bacon and Parmesan are very salty).
  4. Serve immediately with chopped parsley sprinkled on top, and extra Parmesan cheese at table.

Jjajangmyun (blackbean noodles)

  
Ingredients:
Noodles (special “myun” for jjajangmyun), black bean paste, half pound of pork belly, sugar, olive oil, potato starch powder, sesame oil, Asian radish, sweet potato, zucchini, onion, cucumber.
Makes 4  servings.
  1. Cut the of pork into ½ inch (1cm) cubes. Leave the skin on.
  2. Add  ½ tbs of olive oil to a heated wok. When that’s hot, add the pork and stir fry it until it looks crispy.
  3. When the pork is well cooked and the color turns golden brown, drain all the hot fat and set the pork aside. Leave it in the wok for later use
  4. Heat a small skillet over medium heat with 2 tbs of vegetable oil. When that’s hot, add 7 tbs of black bean paste and stir fry for 1 minute.
  5. Remove the extra oil and set the black bean paste aside.

Cut all vegetables into 0.5 inch cubes and place them on a big plate or tray. You will end up with 1 cup of radish, 1 cup of potato, 1 cup of zucchini, and 2 cups of onion.
  1. Reheat the crispy pork in your wok over high heat, and add 1 tbs of olive oil.
  2. Add radish and sweet potato (or potato) and saute them for 2 minutes. Then add zucchini and onion and saute them for another 2 minutes.
  3. Add 3 cups of water until all the ingredients are submerged, and close the lid and boil it for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Open the lid of the wok and skim off the foam from the surface. Add the fried black bean paste from the small skillet and stir it up.
    *tip: to check if ingredients are cooked or not, try a sample potato chunk. It should be cooked, not raw.
  5. Mix 2-3 tbs potato starch powder (or corn starch) and 2 tbs water and add it into the boiling soup and stir it. then the soup ill turn into a sticky sauce.
  6. Add 1 tbs sugar to the sauce and stir it

For 2 servings, you will need one bunch of noodles from the package.
1. Boil water in a big pot, add the noodles and close the lid. Cook for a few minutes according to the direction on the package (around 3 minutes).
2. Try one sample noodle to check if it’s cooked properly or not. It should be soft and not stiff at all. If it’s cooked, drain the noodles and place them on a large plate or bowl.
3. Reheat the jjajang sauce and put it on the noodles.

Ps: Dont eat it cold ^^

Arrange everything on a platter.
  1. Cook rice. You can use a rice cooker or a stainless pot.
  2. Next, you need to prepare a large platter to put all your ingredients on. Rinse your  bean sprouts 3 times and put them in a pot with a cup of water. Add 1 ts of salt and cook for 20 minutes. Drain water and mix it with 1 clove of minced garlic, sesame oil and a pinch of salt.
    Put it on the platter.
  3. Put your spinach in a pot of boiling water and stir it for a minute. Then rinse it in cold water a few times and squeeze it lightly. Mix it with a pinch of salt, 1 ts of soy sauce, 1 clove of minced garlic and sesame oil. Put it on the platter
  4. Cut 2 small size zucchinis into thin strips, sprinkle them with a pinch of salt, and then mix them together. A few minutes later, sauté them in a pan over high heat. When it’s cooked, it will look a little translucent. Put it on the platter.
  5. You can buy soaked and cooked “kosari” at a Korean grocery store. Prepare about 2 or 3 cups of kosari for this 4 servings of bibimbap. Cut it into pieces 5-7 cm long and sauté in a heated pan with 1 ts of vegetable oil. Stir and add 1 tbs of soy sauce, 1/2 tbs of sugar, and cook them for 1-2 minutes. Add sesame oil. Put it on the platter.
  6. Slice shitake mushrooms thinly and sauté with 1 ts of vegetable oil. Add 2 ts of soy sauce and 1 or 2 ts of sugar and stir it for 2 minutes. Add some sesame oil, and put it on the platter.
  7. On a heated pan, put some oil and 200 grams of ground beef and stir it. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tbs of soy sauce, 1/2  tbs of sugar, a little grounded black pepper, and sesame oil.
    Put it on the platter

  8. Cut a carrot into strips, sauté it for 30 seconds and put it on the platter.
  9. prepare eggs with sunny side up.
  10. Put your rice In a big bowl, and attractively display all your vegetables and meat t. Place the sunny side up egg on the center.
  11. Serve it with sesame oil and hot pepper paste.
  12. Lastly, mix it up and eat!

BACKGROUND

Mary Stayed Out All Night is based on the internet comic entitled, "Maerineun Uibakjoong" created by Won Su-Yeon. It was first published in on February 6, 2009 via cartoon.media.daum.net. On November 24, 2009, it was published as comic book.

The creator of this comic, Won Su-Yeon, was also the creator of the manhwa "Full House" which was later adapted into a live drama, "Full House".

The drama was directed by Hong Seok-goo and written by In Eun-ah (1st half) and Go Bong Hwang (2nd half).

Marry Me, Mary Synopsis

SYNOPSIS

Mary (Moon Geun Young) is a young woman with the energy of the sun. She looks like her late mother, but her hot temper comes straight from her deadbeat father (Park Sang Myeon). Her father always makes troubles as a failed businessman, but Mary also loves him the most. Because Mary can't afford to pay her college tuition fees, she temporarily stops attending school. Without having any special skills, Mary starts to work odd jobs. One day, Mary's father proposes that Mary marry a man named Jung-In to pay off their debts.

One day, she goes out and almost hits a young rock star (Mu-Gyul). That night, she follows him to his concert in an underground club and listens to him play. Wanting to apologize for almost running him over, she stays until the end to say sorry. They both end up becoming friends when accidenttly getting drunk and waking up in Mary's home. When Mary hears of her father's plan she devises her own plan. Mary takes fake wedding pictures with her new friend Mu-Gyul (Jang Geun Suk), whom she has just met over the last couple of days. She sends the pictures to her father's cellphone with the message that this is the man she loves and will marry. Unfortunately for Mary, her deadbeat father has already registered a marriage certificate on her behalf with Jung-In! Jung-In then proposes that Marry spend 100 days of marriage with both men and decide whom she wants to live with.
